freetagging displayed as not freetagging

Issue Summary

I realize tat freetagging vocabularies are not yet available however, is there a way to modify the module so that it will pull a freetagging vocabulary and just display it as a select box?

I use the vid on a specific content type for creating the terms via freetagging, but I just need to display those terms in a select box on a different content type using cck_taxonomy. So can the .module be modified to pull all vids, and make them available by removing the freetagging property when it is called by cck_taxonomy?

Sorry if that sounds confusing.
