Hi,
As I have a problem with the admin account which is asked to login on everypage I wonder how to disable / enable Boost easily when I need to work with the admin account on my website.
Because of the login problem I needed to delete Boost .htaccess and use again the one provided with Drupal, as I still had the same problem when I just disabled Boost but didn't change the .htaccess .
With the wrong .htaccess the cached pages generated by Boost are not used, but I wonder if I need to completely uninstall Boost to be able to use the classic drupal cache or if the drupal cache is used when Boost is enableb but the Boost .htaccess is not in the directory (because when boost is enabled there is no more drupal "classic" cache option).
The purpose of doing that is to be able to enable boost cache easily by just changing the .htaccess when I do not need to use the admin account.
But if the classic drupal cache doesn't work at all when boost is installed I will need to uninstall it and change the .htaccess file every time I will want to work on the site with the admin account.
Thanks.

wwwoliondorcom commentedHello,
Do you know if there is still a problem with Boost as I met before when my website was asking to login every time I was browsing a new page ?
Thanks.

mikeytown2 commentedIt probably is as I have not touched the 5.x code base.

mikeytown2 commentedClosing all 5.x issues; will only reevaluate if someone steps up #454652: Looking for a co-maintainer - 5.x
Reason is 6.x has 10x as many users as 5.x; also last 5.x dev was over a year ago. The 5.x issue queue needs to go.
