Hi folks,
I'm having a redirect issue w/ Mozilla. e.g., links are active in Gallery as the page loads up but become inactive when the page is finally loaded. This issue doesn't seem to happen in IE7. Any help or recommendations would be great.
Regards,
James

Notes:
Root folder > Main (Drupal> >Gallery2
Drupal and it's components are located in a folder in my root folder. Gallery2 is located in the Drupal folder.

Clean URL / URL Rewrite OK
There is a writable .htaccess file in your defined Drupal directory (/hermes/web02/b2962/jovestec/seaandsnow/main/gallery2/). Your 'Show Item' rule should start with 'gallery2/'. Make sure to change the URL Rewrite rule(s) accordingly.
this is weird because in my gallery URL Rewrite, even when I do have a "gallery2" prefix, this still shows up When gallery2 is prefixed in the Gallery2 admin, there is a redirect to the home page (see) when removed it doesn't happen. (currently, gallery2 is removed from the SHOW ITEM in URL Rewrite in GALLERY2 admin)

jjoves commentedThis is where the fundamental difference is:
In Drupal:
Overview of your URL Rewrite settings as specified during install.
Public path to your .htaccess file: /main/gallery2/
Filesystem path to your .htaccess file: /hermes/web02/b2962/jovestec/seaandsnow/main/gallery2/
Should this be pointing to the .htaccess in the Drupal or Gallery root?
In Gallery
Embedded Setup
For URL Rewrite to work in an embedded environment you need to set up an extra .htaccess file to hold the mod_rewrite rules.
Absolute path to the folder of your embedded .htaccess: /hermes/web02/b2962/jovestec/seaandsnow/main/gallery2
Please enter the Url to your environment. E.g. http://www.mySite.com/myNiceCMS/ http://www.seaandsnow.org/main/gallery2/
Should this be pointing to the .htaccess in the Drupal or Gallery root?

modctek commentedI'm glad to see I'm not the only one struggling with this issue. I've had to disable Gallery's URL Rewrites to maintain any kind of functionality. Have you made any progress on this issue?

jjoves commentedmodctek,
Yes, it's solved. I posted it in Gallery.

The main installation configuration is:
root/drupal/gallery2
If you have a similar setup the paths designated should do you fine. let me know if you have any questions.

Adam S commentedI have this problem and I still don't understand it. How do I configure the mod-rewrite install of gallery2 for Drupal? What is the "Public path to your .htaccess file: "? And, what is file "Filesystem path to your .htaccess file: "? Any help with this would be appriciated. Thanks.
This is the structure of the sever file system and the url to the site is "http://thechefsgalley.com"
