Is it possible to break the taxonomy dropdowns out of the fieldset and more importantly, whatever it is that wraps a weight of -3 around them? I ask because I'm looking to put 1 vocabulary's dropdown in a separate area further down the form. I'm aware of Content Taxonomy however it seems a bit overkill for just wanting to just move the dropdowns.

I just ended up going the Content Taxonomy (http://drupal.org/project/content_taxonomy) route, although there may be another way now -- this post is 16 months old.
