I've designed my own theme from garland theme. As normal works well in firefox but not in IE 7,
when making the changes in fix-ie.css nothing happens.
I've made silly changes such as not displaying the body or making backgrounds an obvious colour just to see if its working and it doesn't make any changes.
I removed the lt in the if statement as I understand that is 'less then'.
I don't see why this doesnt have any effect.
I've cleared all browsing history as I thought that might be causing a problem but still no changes.
Can someone help?

ah preview
And as you can tell I always miss the obvious things!
You might want to check that
You might want to check that you have CSS compression disabled under Drupal's performance settings.
If it would be enabled the website would serve compressed css which is still the old one.
Hope this helps
