Hi,

Parent menu block would be awsome since you already have submenu and sibling menu blocks.
Parent menu would show items in the above levels the same way as the others are already work.
Also I have already requested to be able to create more then one view of these blocks.

Hmmm.... it's relatively easy to do, but I'm not quite convinced of the need for it. If there's enough demand for it, I'd consider it, but otherwise, not anytime soon.

consider a site (such as mine) with several levels of submenus. i'm showing the siblingmenu navigation block in the right sidebar. say a few levels down is a bio page with a lot of summaries, and under that is a page for each individual detail bio.

by the time a user is on the detail bio, it's very hard to go back up because mousing through the drop-down menus in the navbar can be a real challenge to your agility. if the parent level could be shown in the right sidebar it would be very easy to go back up.

so it's a usability enhancement imho.
