Fatal error: Call to undefined function: db_num_rows() in /home/pojack1/public_html/nyclightwave/includes/common.inc(1547) : eval()'d code on line 11

The upgrade aside from this worked.
my site, nyclightwave.com is running 6.

Another problem is that all of a sudden the admin pages don't show up anymore.
I went into mysql and changed the Administration theme to garland, but no go.
The watchdog, has this error,
wid uid type message severity link location referer hostname timestamp variables
123662 1 page not found themes/ability/js/jquery.pngfix.js 4 http://nyclightwave.com/themes/ability/js/jquery.p... http://nyclightwave.com/admin/user/rules x.x.x.x 1219886311 N;
Checking ftp, the file is there. I'm not sure what the problem is.

Ok, I found out what that db_num_rows thing was, disregard, it was a custom php block.

The secont thing though is a problem with the update status module.
I nailed it down, to update status module and marinelli theme.

If both are installed and on the admin page is white.
If I turn off either of them, I can get back to the admin page.

Hello,

does the update module server whitelist and blacklist ip addresses.

I think the cirtext hosting kitty server, 208.53.168.6 was black listed.
All my update status drupal installs stopped working.

Can anyone verify this. The tech at cirtex says they didn't change anything on thier end.
This is the only other thing I can think of because all my drupal installs update module died.

Title: WHen updating from 5 to 6 I got this error. » Does d.o. blacklist IPs (preventing update.module from working)
Project: Drupal core » Drupal.org site moderators
Version: 6.x-dev »
Component: update.module » Other
Category: bug » support
Priority: Normal » Minor

The update module contacts d.o. for a list of available updates, so moving this to a different queue and changing category to support request.

To summarize, the question is:

  1. Are certain IP addresses blocked from d.o.?
  2. If yes, is 208.53.168.6 on the list?

Status: Active » Closed (won't fix)

This is probably a configuration issue on the client hosting.
