Hello
Browser replaces update.php by install.php
Now i am in the last step of upgrading drupal 5.6 to 6.4
when i Pointing my browser to update.php file
it goes to install.php and prompt me to instaal the drupal

Can any one help?

Did you make a settings.php file in your Drupal 6 installation and add your database info? In other words, did you do step 9?

You should have kept your /sites/default/settings.php file from your working Drupal 5 site.
