We have a new docs group up on g.d.o and I made an event (http://groups.drupal.org/node/14570) for our IRC meeting. It never appeared on the site-wide calendar (http://groups.drupal.org/event) though and we didn't get an iCal feed for it.
The group is an invite only group because it is intended to be read-only. Is this a problem with regards to calendaring our events? Or is there some other issue with how I created the event that messed things up?

add1sun commentedSo I made an event that is a "user group" event for the DC doc sprint and that showed up, so I'm assuming the Events block and iCal doesn't include all kinds of events. Is that on purpose or an oversight? We'd really like all of our events listed, regardless of type.

add1sun commentedMoshe tracked down the issue on this. Using GMT for an event will cause it to NOT show in the event block. He needs to update Date module, which will take some time, so the workaround for now is to not use GMT for the timezone on events.

gregglesI imagine this is now fixed since we have had several upgrades since this issue of core and contrib.
