This morning when I woke up , my Drupal test site was a mess.
My theme was broken and one of my primary links (which was set to a full url to a subfolder ) pointed to a node's css file.
After suggestions on the forum, I cleared the cache and theme was fixed.
After clearing my browser cache the link returned to the subfolder.
My questions is this:
How did Drupal cache a broken version of my site?
1) caching was and is turned off.
2) It must have been broken or at least looked like that for a moment in order to cache it.
3) Will this happen again and can I auto set the cache to clear?

ISP or webhost?
It's possible that either your ISP or webhost had the cached versions of the page and not Drupal.
