Simple Drupal program

Dear programmers,

I need a simple program that will list the image files in a directory (uploaded through ftp), and present the user with a very large textbox allowing them to type the contents of the image file.

The image file should be displayed in a popup window. The user should be able to enter the text (transcribe) from the image and hit save. Once this is done the site will remember which images were transcribed by renaming the file to filename.complete.png
