I personally think that:

http://drupal.org/getting-started/6
http://drupal.org/getting-started/5
http://drupal.org/getting-started/4.x

should be under a sub-heading of 'Versions' which is a page about the different versions of Drupal, how often they are released and compatibility with different modules. Does this make sense?

Please see http://lists.drupal.org/pipermail/documentation/2008-October/006325.html for a larger doc list discussion.

Also going to mark #315155: Make multi-site (and other "general" Drupal concepts) top-level in the Getting started guide a dupe since this is all related and needs to be worked out at the same time.

Marking #297928: Proposal: Move all Drupal Multisite setup to an indipendent Section a dupe as well to consolidate discussion in one thread.

Also want to point to this larger, related issue #199388: Documentation lacks an information architecture
