Not sure whether this is best considered a bug report or a feature request, but when the Profile Privacy module is insalled and the First and Last name fields are allowed to have their privacy overridden by the user, the RealName module should respect this and also not use the fields. If both/all of the fields tokenized in the RealName configuration are private, then the entire RealName configuration should be ignored and it should forward onto the parent and return the user name instead.

pauldawg commented...more simply put, allow the user to select whether to display their Real Name through integration with Profile Privacy
Comment #2
nancydruI don't use that module. Do you have any idea how to do this?
pauldawg commentedNo I am not sure how to do the integration; would love to get into Drupal module development. Maybe this would be a good place to start.

nancydruOkay, I just committed this to both branches. However, my 6.x site is not really set up for a good test, so I need you to test it more thoroughly. It was a relatively simple fix though.
