Looking over the readme and the info here, I can't determine the answer - is there a version to import from phpbb3 to Drupal 5.10? It looks like you can go from phpbb2 to Drupal 5, and phpbb3 to Drupal 6, but not phpbb3 to Drupal 5. I've got a few modules running on my site that aren't upgraded to 6 yet, so I'm stuck with 5 for now, which is why I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to go from phpbb3 to Drupal 5.10.

Nothing complete. there was a semi working module file in another issue somewhere (probably with "phpbb3" in the title).

As far as I am concerned, the drupal 5 version of the module will not see any further development unless completed patches come from elsewhere. If people need other modules, they should be ported, either by the user, by the maintainer or a third party possibly through some bounty scheme.

(If you are waiting for privatemsg, I am working on that with the maintainer and there will hopefully be a stable-ish release very soon from where the database schema will be pretty consistent with upgrade paths for further changes, A few of the patches have been written, a couple of others still need to be.)
