Drupal convention, for SEO, is to use dashes in URLs rather than underscores. That is, the search path should be search/google-appliance, not search/google_appliance.

This is caused by search.module.

The 6.x-2.x branch resolves this issue.

Ack. I thought I was closing off one of my own issues. Re-setting to 'active'.

No clue if it's still relevant, but definitely not for D5. Close if this was fixed elsewhere.

I haven't used the 7.x branch at all, but I did fix this in 6.x-2.x, and no one else has commented in the intervening 6 years, so I think closing the issue is sensible.
