hey folks ... great module.
doesn't quite suit my need atm, but I thought I'de put a feature request in just in case someone felt like taking it on.

What would be great is if this could be either a 'view type' or allow the sliders to use views as well as content types.

Ie. I'de like to be able to select the fields I wish to display of a given content type.

Having the view functionality would also let me define things like 'display the most recent 5 only' etc.

Since CG designed to be the simplest slideshow module then I decide to provide Views function internally in CG. Mean, you can use CG without Views.

CG supports to display single content-type and display only Published node. But in the next version CG will have this options:
- source: multi content-type
- order by
- use node.tpl.php as layout
- etc

In short, just use CG to add slide show in your website without worry any dependencies with other modules/libraries.
