Hyperblaster.org Druplash Full Flash site Powered by Drupal

Heyo

Almost done creating my portfolio, let me know what you think so far!

Still to do:

  • Clean up small design details
  • Load in blog
  • Add my Client List in
  • Enable Comments on projects within flash

I am also going to implement SWFaddress so that the drupal URL Alias will link to a specific section with the swf,

I have a few other druplash sites going atm too, will post them up later, one of them is a flash ecommerce drupal site woooot!

Drupal rocks

Great work

Wow thats awsome :)
I really like your site, and more awsome that it got a drupal backend :D

woah!

everyone on the site i clicked it said flash. how the heck did you do that? will you please do a tut on how to combine drupal and flash?

Custom xml feed by the looks of it

The site isn't loading for me in firefox 3.04 / flash 10. It's stuck on 100% loading. Loads ok in IE 7.

It looks like the site generates a xml feed from a custom menu callback which flash pulls in and renders content from http://hyperblaster.org/xml/cadesfeed

The site looks good and looking at the html is accessible without flash. Full flash sites ain't my cup of tea though.

We have used a similar approach creating custom menu callbacks so the flash can pull in xml (not full flash sites but flash elements within a site). Services module also allows some usefull functions for loading nodes into flash and rendering as and how you want. Our flash developer favours amfphp over xml but as I do not know any flash I can't say why he favours it. He has also used flash to call custom javascript functions on a page which allows for some clever stuff to be done.

Thats it! Got it in one,

I made a view that shows all published content, and then used theming to output it as xml, it was great until i came across amfphp,

now i use AMFPHP, and it saves all the hard work of theming, it is officially amazing!

New site coming soon!!!!!

thanks for the comments
