I am the current maintainer of the openads module which integrates the OpenX (formerly Openads) ad serving system. I was thinking it would be best long term to rename the project from openads to openx as over time there will be fewer and fewer people who know what Openads is but do know of OpenX.

I don't recall coming across guidelines for renaming a project anywhere so I thought I would ask here in hopes of getting the right information.

You can change the title used for a project node, but you cannot rename the directory containing the CVS files.

As alternative, you can create a new project, and name it "OpenX". Anyway, I think that to change the project title would be sufficient.
