Using firebug I have noticed that the margin on the left is missing. On a small browser window the content of the site would start on the very left without some space.

The left margin is AUTO. I don't really see your point here, if the visitor is using 800x600 then they are screwed right from the start (the theme being 960px wide) the next resolution up worth mentioning is 1064x768 in which case its fine. Yes there is a 10px left offset from center - I could probably solve this but frankly I don't have the will or the time (I wouldn't consider this a bug or deal breaker etc).

I'll definitely consider looking at it in future version, but right now I'm afraid I am too busy to "fix" anything other than critical errors.

Okay you are right. While I was writing this bug entry my wife also said that this was not a bug. xD ^^
