I've spent the last few hours trying to get this installed, kept getting IISPassword errors until I found someones post saying that I didn't actually need the .htaccess file.

Anyway, removed the file but now I get the error:
Parse error: parse error in D:\Webs\ukextreme.net\wwwroot\cwmcarn\sites\default\settings.php on line 102

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Line 102 in the settings.php file is where the php variables are defined, don't think people can help you much on this unless you provide some info about the environment your running drupal on.
