Is it possible to control the width and colour properties of the gps track shown via gpx file?

I don't think it is possible to do it from the gpx file, but you can now add options to a gpx layer in the [map /] definition.

As a feature request, would be nice to have an option of just specifying the gpx file and the baselayer, while the "magic" takes care of the rest, i.e. by default the base map zooms around outer limits of the gpx coordinates.
