Note to self: upgrade to Drupal 6, and abstract functionality. Use drupal_match_path() for path visibility. Rename to VAPI

yeah they are VERY different... VAPI is simply an abstract api for customizing where and when an arbitrary widget will appear

It will be to close to Voting API based on name, not on content.

Yes, API is a commonly used phrase, but "voting" != "visibility". Anyway, we're off topic. Any progress on D6 port?

Nope sorry. I do not use PHP anymore, just checkin back to 'watch over' my old projects for anyone wishing to maintain. I have moved on to the better / more enjoyable world of Ruby and Python :)

I'd be interested in taking this over for d6.x. I want to abstract what I've started with region_visibility in a similar way to what you have here.
