It looks like custompage_view_tile always dislays the default display of the view and does not care about the display_id being passed along?

I fixed this. It is a matter of using the proper display_id. For blocks it is usually block_1, block_2, etc. To see the dispaly_id, over over the display switcher in the view edit page.

I have updated the custompage_view_tile to default to block_1 as it's display_id.
