Note that admin_menu has an option to collapse module groups, so you never know where a newly uploaded module can be found.

Actually, jquery_update (required by jquery_ui) and jq modules use the following:

package = User Interface

So maybe that one could be considered a defacto standard for this kind of modules?

The current consensus is that the package string should be "User interface".

You could help out by filing issues on the other projects to change their package string to "User interface".

I'm reactivating the issue in the hope you could add package = User interface to the .info file in the 6.x branch, which is missing there.
