I've searched through the other posts and could not find anything related to this issue.

I've been receiving a lot of page not found errors in my "Recent Log Entries" that show attempts to access non-existing pages on my site. None of this pages exist on my site and there is nothing like these in my sitemap. See below

So is this something I should be concerned about? Is there a way to block these attempts?

This looks like an attempt to find mambo and/or joomla adminstratvie pages.

Thanks for the info. I guess since I'm running Drupal, I should not have to worry about these attempts, but I'm sure there are trolls who will be doing the same thing for Drupal sites.

So if I see a number of "Access Denied" attempts to my Drupal admin pages, what would be the best thing to do?

Thanks,

i used to see dozens, if not hundreds of these every day - but between the use of the BadBehavior module and the TROLL module, i've cut it wayy down..
The Badbehavior module blocks most of them.. the few that get thru i add the IP to the TROLL module.. Using these modules is also great for blocking scrapers and spammers/trolls..
