Hi,
I can't configure it to view a specific node type because it says illegal operation, contact site admin. Any idea how to fix this? I am configuring the vertical scrolling portion of it. Thanks!

Don't try to configure the views-ticker views themselves. Change the display (table, list,teaser, full node, etc.) to the ticker view you want.

Don't try to reconfigure the pre-installed ticker blocks - it does give errors. Simply add a new view, "provide block" and specify Ticker:EffectType in View Type.

Input formats are not selected when overriding the views for the different ticker types. Select an input format for every instance where there is one and the errors will go away.
