Hi,

I am wondering of a way to create an email list that will send out an email to all people whenever a node is created or updated? Say someone creates a new page, or blog entry than an email will automatically be sent out with a teaser and a link back to it.

If that module contains a way to exclude specific node types, like "stories" or whatever custom node-type I create.

The Notifications or Subscriptions modules will do what you need.
