Prodigem API for bittorrents
The Prodigem API is an interface for programmers to gain access into the Prodigem Bit Torrent Hosting Service. It allows the possibility of designing new Prodigem interfaces and making Prodigem a part of other services (eg. blogging tools, content management systems). Imagine the power of a "Help, I've been slashdotted!" button in any web management tool.
Most of the API functions require a Prodigem account. Be sure to sign up (https://ssl4.westserver.net/lerhaupt/prodigem/torrents/createAccount.php) (for a limited time, preview accounts come with full torrent creation capabilities and are free).

a first app
saw this in my referrers. i've never worked with drupal before, but as an example of what the api can let you do, i've written PEP. PEP is a small php script that will parse an rss 2.0 feed and have prodigem create and seed torrents for each enclosure it finds.
see: http://www.torrentocracy.com/blog/archives/2005/09/pep_is_deliciou_1.shtml
i'd wholeheartedly welcome a drupal module to work with the api, hope someone runs with that...
gary
I'm working on it! :-)
