Description

It doesn't seem to be possible to grant node_convert permission to users other than user 1.
(There's no hook into permissions system?)

Yes, there is no hook into the permission system. I might implement it after I study the best way to do so.

And you are mistaken, other users can convert nodes, but you have to grant them the "administer content types" permission.

And you are mistaken, other users can convert nodes, but you have to grant them the "administer content types" permission.

Could this be made explicit in the documentation (such as a readme.txt for the package or the help message)? I also couldn't figure out who had permission to convert nodes.

I'd just like to add my vote to allow people to have explicit permission to do a node convert. I would be fine with just allowing full control to convert nodes, but what would be even better would be to have it like content, where you can select which node types you want to be able to convert. I don't want my clients to be able to change and add content types, but I would like to enable them to convert certain node types.

Cheers,
Steph
