Hi,

In the page which appears when pressing the "create content" menu items. I see the list of content types in certain order.

Could you tell me how can I control the order of items?
Here is a 'Screen shot'

create content
Choose the appropriate item from the list:

* forum topic
A forum is a threaded discussion, enabling users to communicate about a particular topic.
* image
An image (with thumbnail). This is ideal for publishing photographs or screenshots.
* story
Stories are articles in their simplest form: they have a title, a teaser and a body, but can be extended by other modules. The teaser is part of the body too. Stories may be used as a personal blog or for news articles.

Thanks,

I can see what you mean, this area could be improved.

I think the order should be, for regular members:

- Submit News Story
- Add Forum Topic

The order for Admins should be:

- Submit News Story
- Add Forum Topic
- Create Static Page

Maybe Icons for each item as well..

Did anyone figure this out?

Which version?

If you're using Drupal 6, you can navigate to Administer > Site Building > Menus > Navigation and drag the menu items up and down to place them in the order you wish.

I'm not familiar with older Drupal versions though.

Isn't that only in the menu though? How about the order on the add content page. Or even $links on top of the forum?

Changing it in the navigation menu also changes the actual create content page (/node/add).
