textimage gives useless image.

Hello,
Using drupal 4.7.6 with captcha-4.7.x-1.2 and textimage-4.7.x-2.1
When turned on and used the textimage module gives images that contain points, lines and circles, but nothing that can be recognized as text in any way.

Anybody here has an idea of what's going on and how to fix it?

I think your best chance is
I think your best chance is to go to http://drupal.org/project/textimage and post a support request issue there.
But with only this information I think they won't be able to help you either. Check what your settings are (GD2, Freetype supported by the server, Truetype fonts) according to the module's documentation in admin/help/textimage, and also your text (was it only English characters and numbers? Is it OK for your available fonts?)
