Module to auto-approve x.com emails, queue others for moderation

It seems like this should have been done already, but I haven't been able to find a module that follows the default signup process for users with "@domain.com" email domains, but with any other email domain it stores it until an admin reviews and approves it. I know you can allow/deny based on certain wildcards, but I don't want to take either action on any other email addresses. Is there a module that does this?

Nevermind, I've created a custom module myself.
Is this usually the way the community works around here? I would have imagined I'd at least get a response on whether or not there's already a module for this.
