The default role for drupal:
1. Unregistered role (least privilege)
2. Registered role (medium privilege)
Added role:
3. Student role (maximum privilege)
Registration will be open for public.
Those visitor who provides the correct regcode while registration will be assigned as "student role" otherwise "registered role", i.e., it will not be compulsory for a visitor to type a code. Can this be done with regcode module?
AND
1. Can I generate "code word" by myself?
2. Can I define how many times the same code can be used?
3. Can SMS/EMAIL functionality get added with this for circulating the codes?
Please reply. :-)

danielnolde commentedHey regcode-users,
i just posted a ready-for-review proposal of a completely reworked new regcode.module (still D5, but soon to be upgraded to D6 & D7). This new to-become-release is solving a lot of feature-requests and issues (this one too!) on a completely new and flexible basis.
Check it out, test it and give feedback whether you think it solves your issues, and whether it's ready to be committed:
