Contact form help

Can anyone help me solve this problem.

I have a number of pages that have a sentence along the lines .... "For further information, please contact us". The "contact us" part being a link to the contact page.

The contact form itself contains:

Your name
Your email address
Subject
Category
Message

What would be the simplest way when the "contact us" link is clicked for the contact form to display the right category from the dropdown box?

By default it selects "Website feedback" and it appears that nobody is expanding the list to find the most relevant to their enquiry.

Press office enquiry
Website feedback
... ...
... ...

Any help would be appreciated.
