it would be great if the drupal 6 version also took care of translation routing. So it would know the correct node to point at based on the locale picked from the locale module.

I don't run Drupal 6, but the Drupal 5 version did make use of the relevant modules (i18n and translation) hooks to do that.

Could you point me at any docs about the Drupal 6 way of doing things ?
