After I upload images, I can see the thumbnails in edit mode but I cannot see images in a node (such as story).

i am having the same problem... especially using contemplate. I cleared the views cache... and I have done a lot of experimentation.. but this is my routine

1... I uplaod an image
2.. the image is there, even after saving and then back to edit.
3... Then I try to make a contemplate template...
4... there are a number of entries there for images... like node->image[25]
the 25 is what the example was in the contemplate examples... but I have tried using 1 as well.

5... and no luck... any ideas?

Same problem on Drupal 6.8/Image Upload 6.x-1.0
Thumbnail is shown after upload, but that's all I get.
I checked the file permissions and found this - 204 for the uploaded image and 644 for the server generated thumbnail.
Any clues?

The new version fixes image file permission issues, but still not working for me.
