Wrong URL display in widget

Description
When I use the widget, I get a not found image box, and I've found it links to the following: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/3.0/us/ whereas the actual proper link should be http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/us
I've messed around with the code but haven't been able to fix this yet.
Please help! This module just isn't working.

I think the patch here: http://drupal.org/node/307095#comment-1028209 should help but I'm not quite sure that it fixes it the way Nedjo wants.
