The module was removed from Drupal due to security issues (http://drupal.org/node/208537) in early January 2008.
I see that updates to address the issues were submitted on May 20, 2008.
Access to the module has not been restored. Is this a process issue or are there still concerns?

i remember seeing something about this in one of the issues queues-- perhaps check the webmasters issue queue. If there isn't an existing issue, you might want to create one.
