It would stand to reason that requesting scheduler to had at page at an assigned time would also remove it from the menu. It does not. This results in a link to a the node but the user no longer has access so it is unaccessable but still linked to.

If a node is unpublished, it's menu item should disappear, I believe. This would be a problem with core, not the module.
