Hi,
we implemented a little feature which I guess could be interesting especially for other users of the language sections module. The post is here: http://drupal.org/node/312732
It shows how to extend the node edit form so that you can also enter translations for menu item titles in the node edit form. Since we only have one node for all languages due to the language sections module, we considered it very useful to enter also all the menu title translations on this same node edit page to avoid going through all the steps of the "translate interface" pages.
