I'm noticing some theme strangeness in general and some specific strangeness with FireFox. The general case is that irrespective of browser - something is clobbering the theme activation settings. I've been seeing this happen for a month or more, but haven't been able to tie it to any particular module or activity.

Typical modality - I have all of the themes in the default install enabled and a block set up to allow the user to change themes. Looks good, I can change theme and change back. Then sometime later I look and the select box is empty. When I go to site building - themes I find that none of the themes are enabled.

Yesterday, I began to notice additional strangeness with FireFox. It is not showing the selected theme at all (except on the theme config page). Otherwise, as I surf through the site it appears to be totally unthemed. IE is displaying the selected theme properly. I don't recall updating either browser in the last week or so.

Is anyone else seeing anything like this? Anyone have any suggestions?

thx,
Dennis

Usually when I run the update script after installing a new module or uninstalling one, I have to re-enable all the themes. I'm not sure why it doesn't maintain the activated selection, but re-enabling them isn't too painful, so I don't worry too much about it.

I haven't seen an explicit connection to running update.php, but it is possible. In any case, while I agree that re-enabling the themes is the proper response to the immediate problem. However, that is only a viable solution as long as I am the only one using the site - I currently am.

However this ceases to be a viable response as soon as I put 750 new users onto the site. I won't be able to go live with the site as long as this behavior is occurring regularly and that will become problematic very soon.
