The Porter-Stemmer module appears in the "Other" package on the modules administration page. I noticed today that the Restricted Search module appears in a "Search" package, and it makes sense to me to put Porter-Stemmer in there, too. Thanks. :)

gregglesI'm not sure this is worthwhile. How many search modules are people likely to install? When a module declares a package and is likely to be the only installed module in that package, it is better to simply not declare the package...
I'll leave this active for others to comment.

traviscarden commentedI hadn't thought of it that way. Let's do see what others have to say. Thanks.

anantagati commentedToday I also installed Restricted Search module and after Porter-Stemmer module.
I think it will be nice to have Porter-Stemmer in "Search" package as there can be more search modules and it is more easy to manage it.

greggles2 is not a set. I also think that restricted search is not a common module, so I'm still opposed to this and feel like "won't fix" is the best status.

dave reidTo be fair, the Apache Solr search and related modules are using the 'Search' package now, but I'm also usually apposed to this since there needs to be an actual module 'package' like Views, CCK, etc.
