Hi Guys,

1. I wanted to ask a few questions to get a drupal site up and running for a church. I currently have drupal installed and edited a template to create a simple layout. My question is that the church wants to be able to add pages, and images to the site. I noticed in the blog and the pages that it was text only and could not upload or implement video and files as an option when creating pages. Is there a plugin for this? I am not too familuar with Drupal as of yet, but I am quickly picking it up.

2. I also have installed modules such as the flash video module and would like to know if I can incorporate on to pages?

3. Another question I have is regarding the home pages. I know that the only user that will be editing the site is the admin, and frankly I dont think they need the login on the page since they are really just trying to put up information about what is going on at the church, videos from concerts, pictures from gatherings, etc. Is there a way to get this to be more media rich with maybe a RTF format like wordpress has when making a blog post?

I really appreciate your assistance on this guys. And so does the church! :)

I would check out:
Adding content with images - basic
Create custom content type

And this excellent article:
Content, the Drupal Way

Then take a look at
Image: image nodes, attached images, and galleries

That and the cck module should get you started.

Good luck

Thanks for these resources. My only concern is that I want to have a rich text format box for input of content on my drupal pages. Has anyone made an ajax plugin or any plugin for this? Please let me know because I am not aware of what it would be named in the downloads.

There are many of them though these days it seems fckeditor is the most popular (at least according to http://drupalmodules/com).
