with node/% as url, nodeID as an argument, node from the context category :
it will work provided as I don't edit too much the content parameters.
everytime one edit it, 'Does not meet context requirements' will appear.
with user/% as url, userID as an argument, and user content, it doesn't work at all, I obtain a blank screen with the layout title. if I add some other nodes that don't need any args , they'll be displayed.
as I'm a bit new to drupal perhaps I did something wrong.
what I'd like is to override the defaut user view with a layout normal user node + some cck fields and a gmap location

littleneo commentedactually, there's no bug for views panes, it concerns panes in the Node context.
