Description

When I create a Gmap Macro the center point I set is being overridden by the default center point set in the Gmap administration. How do I stop it overriding it?

Seeing the same with the 6.x-1.0-beta5 version. The point is placed, the zoom is right, controls etc - but - the center of the map is ignored/overridden by the default.

Not seen this before (have gmap running on other 5.x and 6.x sites - so a little confused.

Example:

http://demo.chrissearle.net/speidermuseum/content/hvem-er-denne-karen

The map is showing for me as http://img.skitch.com/20080928-b4es5cepdy7yfwp24per59t4k8.png - this is centered on 40,0 which is set as the default - but the gmap macro for it is

[gmap markers=small red::47.96326115834283,-116.59446716308594 |zoom=4 |center=47.989921667414166,-112.5 |width=450px |height=300px |control=Small |type=Map]

If you drag over to the US - you'll find the small red marker waiting for you :)

Hi!

I have exactly the same problem. The most annoying thing is it was very good before I made some changes in the default map page.
I was annoyed with the fact that the map was originally always so small, and since I want the maps to be always created at the same size I changed that. I also went then to change some more things I though would make macro making easier.
And now it always centers in default. I think I changed everything back to the original default, but still it doesn't work.
Somebody with the solution out there?

Thanks a lot!

Done!

Check the latest updates. There was some changes to the code on the 1st or 2nd of october. Just changed the gmap.module file according to the instructions and it is working now. Thanks for the module developer.
