I have a problem with my update status module with drpal 6.4, and everytime I try to enable/disable the module, I get this error:

Warning: Got a packet bigger than 'max_allowed_packet' bytes query: INSERT INTO watchdog (uid, type, message, variables, severity, link, location, referer, hostname, timestamp) VALUES (1, 'php', '%message in %file on line %line.', 'a:4:{s:6:\"%error\";s:12:\"user warning\";s:8:\"%message\";s:2137462:\"Got a packet bigger than 'max_allowed_packet' bytes\nquery: UPDATE sessions SET uid = 1, cache = 0, hostname = '70.48.157.66', session = 'messages|a:2:{s:6:\\"status\\";a:1:{i:0;s:53:\\"Les options de configuration ont été enregistrées.\\";}s:5:\\"error\\";a:1:{i:0;s:1604184:\\"user warning: Got a packet bigger than 'max_allowed_packet' bytes\\nquery: UPDATE batch SET token = 'f0dfa9664fee4ea450f07fe86f02a194', batch = 'a:10:{s:4:\\\\"sets\\\\&quo in /home/monteres/public_html/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 128

Can somebody tell me what can cause this kind of error? and how to fix it..

Thanks a lot,
Danny

entering 'max_allowed_packet' into the d.o search box retrieved a number of hits-- perhaps one of them might be helpful.
