Issue Summary
Hello,
This looks like a great module--OG is a key module and Subscriptions is pretty full-featured. Are there any 6.x plans in the works?
thanks much,

this really held me up too - in fact, all of subscriptions kind of did because it's got so many other related contribs - i wound up going with OG's default notifications (which is NOT done yet!) and am just using notifications module instead (an alternative to subscriptions), feels easier to configure and appears to be equally well supported...there are differences, so choose wisely!

Sorry guys, I'm not going to release any D6 code until D7 stable release, but I'm open to review patches.
Blessings!

I have put a first step towards a Drupal 6 version into CVS, see http://drupal.org/cvs?commit=168316

How is this going?

I too would be really interested in seeing this happen; was there any progress since last year?

Since I don't have a Drupal 5x site, I haven't seen what this module "normally" does. I have installed the Drupal 6 code created by @gustav in #4 (install 5x code, then replace .info and .module files with the new files) and it seems to work (though I haven't actually tried it on a mail-enabled server, the messages appear in the queue). I have a couple questions. First, is it fair to say that due to the emergence of notifications and messaging that subscriptions is heading towards obsolescence, and subscriptions_og is heading towards abandonment? Second, is there any interest in creating a notifications_og module? I.e. one that does what subscriptions_og is supposed to do, but using the notifications and messaging framework?

This project is discontinued in favor of notifications. My apologies.
