I ran into this problem randomly, and I can only track it down to the Lightbox module (dev version). In old version of Safari (v1.3.2) on OSX 10.3.9, the Drupal site crashes the browser (on any page) even when there's no Lightbox-specific code on the page. occasionally the page will load, but if i reload the page a couple of times, it crashes again.

after reverting back to the stable lightbox2v1.8 version, the problem went away.

can others confirm this as a problem? the problem happened on 2 different macs using the dev version of Lightbox.

thx,

-nick

Is this still an issue? I'm marking this as won't fix because the browser version in question is so old and the version of jquery that comes with Drupal core only supports Safari 2.0.2+ Since lightbox2 uses jquery, then it also only supports Safari 2.0.2+

Cheers,
Stella

yea, still a problem with the new 6.x-1.x-dev (oct-29) version ... lightbox doesn't seem to be working anyway (before it crashes). it just direct links to images. i just wanted it to be more robust for ppl using old machines.

oh well, guess i need to look into getting a better mac at some point. i'm using PC most of the time tho :P

dunno if this is useful to anyone, but i've attached the crash report.
