- Add ability to automatically download and install any required update.
- Be able to install a module (copy .tar.gz file to modules directory and uncompress it) from a given address (could be set restricted to only drupal.org addresses)

In my opinion this would be a great contribution and I'm decided to help on this too. Anyone with me?

Check the Drush module. This is way outside the scope of this module.
