What about the atom feed format? It's an internet standard. I'd love to offer atom comment feeds.

Maybe a choice would be nice:
only RSS
only Atom
Atom + RSS

I'd love if Drupal itself would support Atom feeds. Also, I'd love to get the module renamed to something like comment feeds and get atom support in. Renaming in CVS is not a piece of cake unfortunately :| Anyway, we should consider adding Atom support if the atom feed module is turned on, so we can reuse its feed generation functions instead of doing code duplication.
